BTS Makes History With “Arirang” and Extends Billboard 200 Dominance
BTS has made history once again on the Billboard 200 with the album “Arirang.” According to the chart update released on April 26, 2026, the album ranked No. 4 on the U.S. albums chart, completing its fifth consecutive week in the top 10.
With this result, “Arirang” became the first album by a Korean artist to spend five weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. The achievement extends BTS’s historic run, as the album had also spent its first three weeks at No. 1.
According to data cited by international media, “Arirang” earned 62,000 equivalent album units during the week ending April 23. The figure keeps the project among the strongest releases in the U.S. market in 2026.
The new milestone arrives alongside the expansion of the “Arirang World Tour,” which began its North American leg in Tampa. The combination of stadium touring, strong sales, and chart longevity reinforces BTS’s position as one of the biggest global acts in K-pop.
The result also shows the album’s commercial staying power. Rather than relying only on a strong debut, “Arirang” continues to maintain impressive numbers week after week, a rare achievement for K-pop releases on the Billboard 200.
