LE SSERAFIM prepares to release “PUREFLOW pt.1” in May

LE SSERAFIM will release “PUREFLOW pt.1” on May 22, 2026, at 1 PM KST. The project was announced by Source Music as the group’s second studio album and marks a new stage in the discography of Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae.

Pre-orders for “PUREFLOW pt.1” began on April 13, 2026, at 11 AM KST, through online and offline stores. Source Music confirmed that the pre-order period will continue until May 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM KST, one day before the album’s official release.

According to the official announcement, “PUREFLOW pt.1” opens a new chapter for LE SSERAFIM. The album explores the changes and growth that come when someone recognizes and faces their own fears. This message connects directly to the lead single “CELEBRATION,” which was released in advance on April 24, 2026.

The concept of the era was also introduced through the trailer “We walkin’ here,” released as part of the promotion for “PUREFLOW pt.1.” The cinematic preview presents a more dramatic and symbolic narrative, with a focus on insecurities, support between the members and the idea of facing difficult emotions instead of ignoring them.

The phrase “FOR WE ARE NOT FEARLESS, AND THEREFORE POWERFUL” appeared in the album’s visual communication and reinforces the conceptual shift of this new era. The title “PUREFLOW” was presented as an anagram of “POWERFUL,” connecting the project’s aesthetic to the idea of strength built not through the absence of fear, but through the recognition of it.

The lead single “CELEBRATION” works as the first musical chapter of the era. The track celebrates the moment when someone accepts change, gains strength to keep moving forward and recognizes their own journey. The song was released almost a month before the full album, creating a bridge between the April announcement and the official arrival of “PUREFLOW pt.1” in May.

The official U.S. store lists “CELEBRATION” Single CD versions for Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae and a group version for LE SSERAFIM. The same store also lists signed versions of “PUREFLOW pt.1” titled BIRCH SCAR, YUSU LILY, PEONY ROOM and TRI ACCORD, as well as a COMPACT ver.

The standard version of “PUREFLOW pt.1” appears in four main editions: BIRCH SCAR, YUSU LILY, PEONY ROOM and TRI ACCORD. Retailer listings indicate that this version includes a CD, 96-page photobook, lyric papers, punch-out board, pull tab, random photocard and stickers. The full tracklist is still listed as “to be announced” on pre-order pages.

The COMPACT ver. was also officially announced for pre-order by Source Music. The period is the same as the main version: from April 13 at 11 AM KST until May 21 at 11:59 PM KST. The album was made available through stores including Weverse Shop, KNPOPS, Aladin, Music & Drama, MAKESTAR, fanplee and YES24.
