I.O.I is a South Korean K-pop girl group formed through Produce 101, originally consisting of 11 members: Lim Na-young, Kim Chung-ha, Kim Se-jeong, Jung Chae-yeon, Zhou Jieqiong, Kim So-hye, Yoo Yeon-jung, Choi Yoo-jung, Kang Mi-na, Kim Do-yeon, and Jeon So-mi. The group debuted on May 4, 2016, with the EP Chrysalis and became one of the most memorable project groups in K-pop, known for its popular songs, major influence on a new generation of idols, and lasting fan interest.
