BOYNEXTDOOR Confirms May Comeback With New Music
BOYNEXTDOOR is officially preparing to return in May. The news first surfaced after Korean media reported that the group was working on new music for the following month. Shortly after, leader Jaehyun strengthened the expectation by changing his Weverse bio to “New song in May”, confirming fans’ anticipation for the group’s comeback.
The release will mark BOYNEXTDOOR’s first comeback since “The Action”, the mini album released in October 2025. With this, the group returns after around seven months without a new Korean music project, opening a new chapter in their 2026 schedule.
So far, details such as the song title, release format, exact date, visual concept, tracklist, and teaser schedule have not yet been revealed. The confirmed information is that Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak are expected to release a new song in May, with preparations already underway.
The comeback comes at an important moment for the group. In 2025, BOYNEXTDOOR strengthened its presence on music charts with songs such as “If I Say, I Love You,” “I’ve Never Liked Anyone Like This,” “123-78,” and “Hollywood Action,” which were mentioned by Korean media as part of the group’s growing momentum.
With the new May release, BOYNEXTDOOR enters a busy K-pop season filled with major comebacks. The group heads into this comeback with an identity already recognized for lyrics connected to the members’ own experiences, youthful storytelling, and a sound that blends pop energy, performance, and a more self-driven musical style.
