UNCHILD Debuts With “We Are UNCHILD” and Aims for Rookie Success in 2026

UNCHILD made its official debut on April 21, 2026, with the single album “We Are UNCHILD.” The release marked the arrival of High Up Entertainment’s new girl group, the agency’s first female group since STAYC.

The single album includes two tracks: the title song “UNCHILD” and the b-side “Energy.” The title track introduces the group’s identity through electronic pop, garage-inspired sounds, electric guitar elements and a message about overcoming fear to move toward new adventures.

The debut was also accompanied by the release of the “UNCHILD” music video, which continued the “Punk School” aesthetic introduced in the teasers. The MV brings together rebellious school-inspired visuals, strong colors, energetic performance and a youthful rule-breaking atmosphere.

During the group’s debut showcase at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul, the members performed “UNCHILD” and spoke about officially entering the K-pop scene. The event drew attention to Haeun’s long pre-debut history as a dance prodigy and Yeeun’s previous appearance on I-Land2: N/a.

The group’s name summarizes its concept: undefined, unrestricted and unwilling to be limited by expectations. With members from South Korea, China and Japan, UNCHILD begins its career as a multicultural rookie group with a clear goal of standing out in 2026.

The debut places UNCHILD in an important position within High Up Entertainment’s lineup. After the success of STAYC, the new group arrives with a less conventional visual style, a more chaotic concept and a strong focus on building its own identity from the beginning.
