TWS Releases “No Tragedy” With Love, Courage, and Growth in “You, You”
TWS released its fifth EP, “No Tragedy,” on April 27, 2026, marking a new stage in the group’s musical identity. The project arrives about six months after “play hard” and presents a bolder approach to the youthful concept that has followed the group since debut.
The title track is “You, You,” a song influenced by R&B and house. The lyrics explore the idea of challenging fate for love, using a story inspired by lovers separated by destiny but transforming it into a more active and determined attitude.
The EP includes six tracks: “You, You,” “All the Possibilities,” “Why You So Bad?,” “Get It Now,” “Fire Escape,” and “Back To Strangers.” The album expands TWS’s sonic range, moving through pop, hip-hop, and electronic elements.
During a showcase in Seoul, the members explained that the album maintains the group’s youthful energy while presenting a more direct form of courage. The visual concept also reflects this shift, with TWS taking on a more mature image described in the promotional narrative as a phase of “young Romeos.”
The group also entered the release with strong commercial momentum. “No Tragedy” surpassed 1.16 million pre-orders, reinforcing TWS’s growth within K-pop’s new generation.
Formed by Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, TWS debuted in January 2024 under Pledis Entertainment and built its identity around the idea of “boyhood pop.” With “No Tragedy,” the group aims to expand that signature without losing its emotional and energetic foundation.
