ILLIT’s Yunah stars in new “It’s Me” concept film ahead of “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” comeback

April 25, 2026

Yunah, a member of ILLIT, received a new individual update during the final countdown to the group’s comeback. BELIFT LAB released Yunah’s “IT’S ME” concept film on Weverse as part of the promotions for ILLIT’s fourth mini album, “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI.” The video presents the member within the group’s new visual era, directly connected to the title track “It’s Me.”

The new material reinforces ILLIT’s shift in atmosphere for this era. After previous teasers such as “GRWM” and “FREE RIDER,” the “IT’S ME” version places Yunah in a more direct, confident, and mature concept, following the main message of the comeback. The full release of “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” is scheduled for April 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST.

According to BELIFT LAB’s official statement, “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” is an album about the different emotions that arise when a relationship with someone deepens. The agency described the project as a story in which ILLIT looks honestly at their inner feelings and embraces even complicated emotions.

The title track “It’s Me” explores the moment after a first meeting with someone you like. In the concept presented by the agency, the group faces the uncertainty of how to define that relationship and answers with a bold declaration: “I’m your bias!” The central idea of the song involves expressing what you want directly, diving into your own feelings, and actively asking for affection.

Yunah’s participation in this stage stands out by reinforcing her position as one of ILLIT’s most striking figures when it comes to strong visual concepts. Since the group’s debut, she has often been associated with a more elegant and confident image, and the new “It’s Me” era expands that side of her within the comeback’s narrative.

In addition to her individual teaser, Yunah also appeared among the ILLIT members included in April’s individual rookie idol brand reputation ranking. In the list released by the Korean Business Research Institute, she ranked 24th, while other members of the group also appeared in the top 30, including Wonhee, Minju, Moka, and Iroha.

The comeback arrives at an important moment for ILLIT. The group has been building this new era since the announcement of their fourth mini album and opened pre-orders on March 31, with different versions of the physical release. The PAW PAW version was also confirmed by BELIFT LAB as part of the album’s release strategy.

With Yunah’s new concept film, ILLIT enters the final stage of promotions before the official release of “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI.” The new era puts the member in the spotlight within a more confident and emotional concept, preparing fans for the arrival of “It’s Me” on April 30.
