fromis_9 announces first Japanese EP “Like You Better (Japanese ver.)”

fromis_9 has announced the release of its first Japanese EP, “Like You Better (Japanese ver.),” scheduled for April 1. According to ASND Entertainment, the project also marks the group’s official debut in Japan.

Before this, the group had performed Japanese versions of “Love Bomb” and “FUN!” at a concert in Japan in 2022, but earlier release plans had been disrupted during the pandemic period. The new EP revives that move and formally launches fromis_9 into the Japanese market.

The release is part of the group’s new phase under ASND Entertainment following management changes and the continuation of activities under the fromis_9 name.
